It's also important to note that the AI plays Durak without any cheating: it doesn't peek at the player's cards during calculations, doesn't manipulate the deck, and doesn't change the hand mid-game—everything is fair! The game rules are meticulously implemented. For instance, the first defender only draws up to 5 cards; the computer won't throw more cards than the first attacker holds after drawing; a deal with 5 cards of the same suit is automatically redone; if the computer decides to take cards, the attacker may throw additional ones, and so on. Additionally, the Durak throw-in game features excellent graphics and smooth animations, optimized for HD, Full HD, and higher resolution screens. All decks are designed for play with either 36 or 52 cards (for those who prefer longer games).

Game controls use simple swipe or slide gestures. Swiping right in the play area lets you discard all clear cards, swiping down towards your cards allows you to pick up, and swiping towards your opponent gives them the chance to take cards. This control scheme enables careful play and helps you memorize which cards have been played.
