Dive into the world of Crazy Eights, a classic card game that has captured hearts around the globe. Known by various names such as Mau-Mau, Switch, or 101 in different countries, and even commercially released as Uno, this timeless game now brings more than just fun—it comes with a rich storyline, engaging characters, and exciting rewards!
Crazy Eights is designed for 2 to 4 players. In a game session, each player is dealt five cards, or seven if it's just a two-player match. The objective is simple yet thrilling: be the first to discard all your cards. To do this, match the rank or suit of the top card on the discard pile. If you can't play a legal card, you'll have to draw from the stock until you find one that fits.
The game spices things up with special cards that add strategic depth. Aces reverse the direction of play, Queens make the next player skip their turn, and Twos force the next player to draw two cards—unless they can counter with another Two. These Twos can "stack," increasing the pressure on subsequent players. And don't forget the Eights; they let you choose the suit for the next turn, giving you control over the game's flow.
