The Game

Chinese Checkers (also known as Sternhalma or Chinese Chequers) is a classic strategy board game that originated in Germany. It is played on a star-shaped board by 2 to 6 players, each aiming to move all their pieces from their starting corner to the opposite one.

Game Modes

This app lets you play both online and offline.

Play online in two ways: 1. Get matched with a random opponent. 2. Create a private game for friends or join one using a code.

Offline modes let you play against the computer or challenge another player locally on one device. You can configure games with any number of players (e.g., you vs. a bot, or you vs. five bots).

Bots

Three AI difficulty levels are available: "Weak Bot," "Medium Bot," and "Strong Bot."

As the name implies, the Weak Bot mimics a novice player who often makes suboptimal moves, ideal for beginners.

The Medium Bot is significantly smarter, but experienced players can still defeat it.

It requires even more skill and effort to beat the Strong Bot.

Profile

Tap the person icon in the bottom-right corner of the main screen to set up your profile, visible to others in online games. You can enter your name and choose an avatar.

Settings

Tap the gear icon on the main page to open the Settings screen and customize the game to your liking. Here you can:

- Adjust interface sound volume (for button clicks, moves, game end, and other effects);

- Adjust background music volume;

- Select a background music track;

- Choose an interface theme and game board theme;

- Turn Super Chinese Checkers mode on or off;

- Toggle "cheat" mode on/off to show all possible move destinations;

- And much more.
