BarbarQ is a casual multiplayer, real-time battle arena and battle royale-style game where you and your opponents clash in an intense arena to prove you're the strongest. With addictive, innovative gameplay and a nostalgic pixel art retro aesthetic, it blends the best elements of MOBA and IO games into one thrilling experience.

The game features a leveling system that lets you unlock a new skill every time you level up—up to five skills in total. These abilities are permanent within a match, so choose wisely. In BarbarQ, raw level isn't everything—success comes from smart teamwork, effective item usage, precise dodging, and powerful skills that can shift the tide of battle.

Eating mushrooms grants experience, which helps you level up and unlock new abilities as the match unfolds. As you grow stronger, you’ll physically expand and gain new powers, making you a more dangerous target. This time, you play as a barbarian driven only to crush your foes and feast on mushrooms. The game also includes collectible items like bombs, honey, meat, and other random power-ups.

Like other IO-style games, progress and items are reset after each match. However, you earn gold that can be used to upgrade your skills and unlock unique pets that give you an edge in combat. BarbarQ offers a variety of game modes, including real-time 3v3v3 and 2v2v2 team battles, idle mode, pet adventure mode, and multiple solo modes.
