Application Description
The ultimate social guessing game for football fans. Explain and guess the football names with your friends.
ALIAS FOOTBALL is a team-based game where competing sides attempt to guess as many football-related "names" (players, clubs, and managers) as possible within a set time limit.
Play Alias Football with at least 2 teams, each having a minimum of 2 players. During each turn, one player describes the "names" shown on the card while their teammates try to guess them before time runs out. Descriptions can include facts, clues, or related information—but you cannot say the actual name. Each correct guess earns your team 1 point. The first team to reach the target score wins the game.
GAME OPTIONS
Modes
Before starting, choose one of the 2 available modes in the Game Settings.
• Classic
In Classic mode, each card contains 5 "names". You must guess all names on a card before moving to the next one.
• Arcade
In Arcade mode, each card shows only 1 "name". You must either guess it or skip—skipping costs 1 point.
Score and Time
Before starting, you can adjust the winning "Score" and round "Time" in Game Settings. The winning score is the total points needed to win. Time sets the length of each round in seconds.
Pack
Before starting, select the "pack" you want to play. Each pack is a themed collection of names—players, managers, and clubs. By default, the standard pack includes the most well-known football figures.
Some packs let you choose between player-only names or include managers and clubs. Certain packs also offer "Easy" and "Hard" versions.
Teams
You can play with the default 2 teams or add more. There's also an option to enter custom team names.
Kick-off
Tap "Kick off" to start the round. See your current points and remaining time during play. After each round, check the overall game score.
